The duties of the Budget Committee include understanding the scope of city services, its expenditures and sources of revenue. The committee reviews the City Manager's proposed budget each year and advises and makes recommendations to the City Council concerning the budget for the coming year. They act in an advisory role, when requested, to the City Council regarding proposed city revenue or proposed city expenditures.
