Developed under the Department of Housing and Urban Development’s 202 Program, the West Jordan Senior Housing development offers 65 one-bedroom units for seniors 62 years of age and older. Partners in this development included the Olene Walker Housing Trust Fund, Salt Lake County HOME Program, West Jordan HOME and RDA Program.
This project features a grand staircase and fireplace in a rotunda setting. Amenities include laundry rooms, craft/exercise room, library, meeting room with kitchen for gatherings and parties, covered parking, walking trail and a playground for visiting children. Residents pay rent with utilities included at a rate of 30% of their monthly income.
This project is located within walking distance to the West Jordan Senior Center, Gene Fullmer Recreation Center, West Jordan Governmental Offices, shopping and a TRAX station. Jordan Valley Senior Housing, 7832 S 3200 W, West Jordan, Utah
Opened on December 13, 2011, Jordan Valley Senior Housing has a number of amenities that its senior residents benefit from including on-site management, beautiful landscaping and outdoor recreation areas for resident use, a secured front door entry system, elevators, common facilities such as a great room with a fireplace and piano for community events, salon, exercise room, wellness room, library, computer space, laundry services on every floor, as well as apartment emergency notification systems, individual storage units and covered parking. The facility offers 60 one-bedroom and 12 two-bedroom units at affordable rates.
Energy Star Guidelines were utilized to ensure long-term utility savings for the residents. Jordan Valley Senior Housing is conveniently located near medical facilities, shopping, postal services, and public transportation (UTA TRAX Station) making it an ideal location for senior living. To qualify, seniors must be income eligible and 55 years of age or older.

Developed under the Tax Credit Program, the Jordan River Apartment development consists of five two-story apartment buildings and one single story community building. The project includes 16 one-bedroom and 32 two-bedroom apartments. This development includes both market rate rents and affordable rents based on income.
